We've been getting creative with our handwriting practice! For each letter we practice we've made up some really funny sentences that we want to put together and turn into a children's picture book. We've even been illustrating our sentences as we go!

Each sentence is about a silly animal named after the kids in our class. Unfortunately we don't have a name for every letter of the alphabet so we'll have to think of some new names for those letters.

Here's what we've done so far...

Aa
Aparna the amazing alligator is an astounding astronaut but as her aerodynamic aircraft ascended into the atmosphere it crash landed in Antarctica.  Luckily Angus the astonishing archaeologist anteater came to her aid and gave her a ride in his automatic automobile!

Bb
Brianna the busy brontosaurus blew up big bright balloons and big blue bubbles for her birthday bash but Brooke the bonkers baboon burst them all in a bizzare game of bikini bicycle badminton!

Cc
Christopher the clever camel cooked coconut caramel cupcakes for the cooking competition but Clyde the cantankerous caterpillar created a controversy when he carelessly catapulted Captain Caitlin the crazy colourful crab and caused a cupcake catastrophe!

Dd
Dixon the disco dancing dinosaur didn't win the dance competition because Dave the dastardly donkey deliberately dangled delicious donuts that made him drool and dribble all over the dance floor... DISGUSTING!
